This Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") serves to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of the information we receive when you access and use the Redress mobile application and all related services (collectively, the "Services") owned, controlled, or offered by Redress ("Redress," "we," "our," or "us"). We consider the privacy and security of your personal data to be extremely important and strive to use Personal Information only as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you warrant and represent that you have read, understand, and agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, that you are a resident of the United States, and that you are over 13 years of age. PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICES IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

1. What We Mean by Personal Information
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" means any information from or about a person that either identifies that person directly or makes that person identifiable when combined with other information from or about that person from any source.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide To Us
When you use the Services or otherwise communicate with us, we collect information that you provide to us directly. For example, we collect information when you: (i) visit or access the Services; (ii) register for the Services or create an account ("Account"); (iii) access the Services through social networking sites or third-party services; (iv) upload photos, clothing items, or other content; (v) request technical support; (vi) otherwise use the Services where Personal Information is required; and (vii) contact us or otherwise communicate with us.
The information you provide may include, without limitation:
Account registration information, including your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide;
A profile photograph that you voluntarily upload to identify your Account;
Clothing images that you upload to the Services to catalog or organize your wardrobe;
Photographs of yourself wearing specific clothing items that you upload to associate outfits with your wardrobe entries;
Style preferences, saved outfits, and other content you generate while using the Services;
Information you provide when contacting us for support, including your name, email address, and the nature of your inquiry; and
Any other information you choose to share with us.
You may choose not to provide information requested by us; however, this may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services.
Photo and Image Data
The Services allow you to voluntarily upload three categories of photographic content: (1) a profile photograph used to identify your Account; (2) photographs of clothing items to build your digital wardrobe; and (3) photographs of yourself or others wearing those clothing items. The decision to upload any photographs is entirely yours. Photographs are stored securely and used solely to provide and improve the Services as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell your photographs or use them for advertising purposes.
If you upload photographs that include images of other individuals, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate permission from those individuals to upload and share their likeness through the Services.
Automatically Collected Information
Most of the technical data we collect is gathered and processed automatically through application programming interfaces, software development kits, cookies, and similar technologies. Data we may collect automatically includes, without limitation:
Device data, including device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers;
Usage data, including features accessed, pages viewed, and actions taken within the app;
Network and internet information, including IP addresses, connection type, and session information; and
Crash reports and performance data used to diagnose and improve the Services.
Information You Share Through Third-Party Services
The Services may allow you to connect your Account to third-party services such as Apple or Google for sign-in. Your use of these third-party services may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by those services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to the Services.
How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to authenticate logins, measure usage patterns, and improve the Services. Required cookies are essential to operate the Services and cannot be opted out of. We and our service providers may also use pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to track usage and the effectiveness of our communications.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To create and administer your Account and provide the Services;
To store and display your profile photograph, clothing images, and outfit photographs within the Services;
To personalize your experience and provide wardrobe and outfit organization features;
To send you service announcements, updates, and information about new features;
To respond to your support requests and communications;
To monitor and analyze usage patterns and improve the Services;
To enforce our Terms of Service and resolve disputes;
To comply with applicable legal requirements and respond to lawful requests; and
To protect our rights, property, and safety, and the rights, property, and safety of our users and the public.
4. Third Parties We Share Personal Information With
We may disclose Personal Information to the following categories of third parties:
Service providers, such as cloud hosting and data storage providers, analytics providers, and communications providers that help us deliver and improve the Services;
Public authorities, such as law enforcement, if we are legally required to do so or if we need to protect our rights or the rights of third parties; and
Our affiliates, or a subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of the Services and their advisors in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all of our assets, or in connection with bankruptcy proceedings, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your Personal Information, including your photographs and images, to third parties. We do not share your photographs or images with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Links to Other Websites
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Redress Services. We do not exercise control over third-party websites or services. Your interactions with those third parties are governed by their respective privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing any personal information.
6. Security
We take the privacy and security of your Personal Information seriously. Redress uses industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome our security measures or use your Personal Information for improper purposes.
6A. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your Personal Information, Redress will notify affected individuals and applicable regulatory authorities in accordance with the timelines and requirements of applicable federal and state data breach notification laws. Such notification will include, to the extent known at the time, the nature of the breach, the types of information involved, and the steps we are taking to investigate and remediate the incident.
7. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers transmit "do-not-track" signals. Because of differences in how browsers incorporate and activate this feature, we currently do not take action in response to these signals.
8. SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number, you may receive SMS messages from Redress for the purpose of two-factor authentication ("2FA") and Account security verification. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. Please note that opting out of 2FA messages may affect your ability to access your Account. Phone numbers collected for SMS/2FA purposes are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and children under 13 are not authorized to use the Services. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information without your permission, please contact us at privacy@redress.me and we will take steps to delete such information.
10. Managing Your Privacy
You can access, correct, or delete your Account information at any time through your Account settings. If you wish to delete your Account, you may do so by following the instructions in the app (see the Delete Account option in your Profile settings). Upon deletion of your Account, we will delete your Personal Information, including your profile photograph, clothing images, and outfit photographs, within fourteen (14) business days, unless retention is required by law.
11. Your Rights
We take steps to help ensure that you are able to exercise your rights regarding Personal Information about you in accordance with applicable law. If you would like to access, review, erase, withdraw your consent, or object to or restrict the processing of Personal Information we hold about you, you may submit a request to privacy@redress.me. We will promptly review all such requests in accordance with applicable laws.
12. California Residents
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 requires certain businesses that share customer Personal Information with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes to respond to requests from California customers about such information-sharing. We currently do not share or disclose your Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Subject to certain exemptions, California residents have the following rights with respect to Personal Information we may have collected about them:
Requests to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose: the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you; the categories of sources from which we collected it; the business or commercial purposes for collecting it; the categories of third parties with whom we share it; and the specific pieces of Personal Information collected about you.
You may submit a request to know via email at privacy@redressapp.com. We are not required to respond to requests to know more than twice in a 12-month period.
We do not sell, and have not in the prior 12 months sold, Personal Information about California residents.
Requests to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete any Personal Information about you that we have collected. Upon receiving a verified request, we will do so unless otherwise required or authorized by law. You may submit a deletion request to privacy@redress.me.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. You must provide your authorized agent written permission to submit a request on your behalf, and we may require that you verify your identity directly with us.
Methods for Submitting Requests and Our Response
You may submit privacy requests by emailing privacy@redressapp.com. We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 days and respond within 45 days. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason in writing. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
The Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your California privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of quality of services as a result of exercising your rights.
12A. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other U.S. states, including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and Montana, may have additional rights under their respective state privacy laws. These rights may include the right to access, correct, or delete your Personal Information; the right to opt out of the processing of Personal Information for targeted advertising or the sale of Personal Information; and the right to appeal a denial of a privacy rights request. 13. International Transfers of Personal Information
Redress is based in the United States. Personal Information that we collect through the Services may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. We may also work with third-party service providers in the U.S. and in other countries to support our business activities. In all such instances, we use, transfer, and disclose Personal Information solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable laws.
14. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information related to your Account for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the Services, to address possible legal claims, to comply with our business interests, and to abide by applicable laws. Thereafter, we either delete your Personal Information or de-identify it. Please note that even if you request deletion, we may be required by law to retain certain information. Once those retention requirements are removed, we will delete your Personal Information in accordance with your request.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as we update and expand the Services. You can tell when it was last updated by reviewing the Effective Date at the top of this page. We will endeavor to notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification, but we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any change constitutes your acceptance of such change.
